There were non-fatal injuries reported for the victim of an overnight stabbing that sent one person to the hospital in Paterson.
Police were called to the vicinity of 195 Harrison Street after receiving reports of an injured person at approximately 10:02 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering a stab injury and needed immediate medical care according to preliminary reports.
The unidentified victim was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center where doctors treated the injury while police launched an investigation back at the crime scene.
Police have not released a motive for the incident at this time.
