There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred at a location in Paterson Thursday evening.
According to police, at approximately 6:20 p.m., a shooter opened fire at unknown targets in the area of Market and 30th streets.
Police arrived at the scene found several shell casings, but after officers searched the area, no victims were located.
In a possible separate incident, a driver in the area of North 4th Street and Belle Avenue contacted police after a bullet struck their vehicle just before 7:30 p.m.
According to the driver, the incident happened near the train trestle on Memorial Drive and Market Street.
There were no injuries reported.
