EMS rushed a shooting victim to St. Joseph’s Medical Center after being struck by gunfire this afternoon in Paterson.
According to police, at approximately 1:10 p.m. today, a gunman fired multiple times in the victim's direction and struck them once in the shoulder.
Police arrived at the scene and requested EMS to rush after finding the victim bleeding at that location.
Police set up a crime scene in the area and collected evidence, but no other injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
