Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 11:58 p.m. on April 25, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 33rd Street and 18th Avenue on report of a shooting.
Paterson Police located a 24-year-old male victim from Paterson, officials stated.
According to officials, the victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said members of the Paterson Police Department were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area.
Officials said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
