Passaic County authorities reported a shooting that took place at approximately 8:55 p.m. on October 12.
According to officials, Paterson Police was dispatched to the area of Carroll Street and Fulton Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene and a 27-year-old male Paterson resident who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
