Authorities in Paterson are searching for multiple suspects involved in a drive-by shooting that took place Thursday evening.
According to police, the incident occurred just before 8 p.m. near 187 Paterson Avenue.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire and, upon arrival, found evidence of a shooting, though no victims were located at the scene.
Investigators believe four suspects fled the area in a light-colored vehicle immediately after the shooting.
It remains unclear who the suspects were targeting, and the motive is still under investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward as the search for the suspects continues.
