Paterson Police are on the search for a gunman following a shooting incident within city limits early Sunday morning.
According to reports, police were called to the scene around 3 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired in the area of 102 East Main Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a shell casing, but after an extensive search of the area, no victims were located.
The investigation quickly shifted detectives learning that a gold Honda Odyssey, last seen near River and Warren Street, was believed to be connected to the incident.
Currently, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and the suspect is still at large.
Paterson Police are actively investigating the case and are appealing to the public for any information that might lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspect involved in this early morning shooting.
