Paterson authorities are actively searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian late Friday night.
The incident occurred around 10:17 p.m. near the intersection of Memorial Drive and Main Street. Responding officers discovered an unidentified victim who had been struck by a vehicle.
Fortunately, the injuries were determined to be non-fatal, and the pedestrian was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.
The victim is expected to recover.
Police have not yet released a description of the vehicle involved in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Paterson Police.
