Authorities in Paterson are currently working to determine the location of a shooting incident that left a male victim injured overnight.The shooting happened around 2:35 a.m. Sunday when officials at St. Joseph's Medical Center alerted police after the victim arrived at the emergency room with a gunshot wound.
The victim, who sustained a bullet wound to his upper leg, was reportedly identified as uncooperative with authorities and did not immediately disclose the location of the shooting.
Despite the victim's lack of cooperation, police are actively investigating the incident. The injuries sustained by the victim are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of the shooting, and law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
