Paterson Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred late Saturday night in the 200 block of Walnut Street.
Gunfire erupted around 10:50 p.m., prompting several police units to respond to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers found shell casings but no victims. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
Authorities credit a ShotSpotter device with alerting them to the shooting.
The incident is currently under investigation, and no injuries have been reported.
