Police in Paterson are looking into a reported armed carjacking that occurred in the city overnight.
The incident happened in the area of 11th Avenue and East 23rd Street sometime at around 2 a.m. where officers were called to the scene for a carjacking in progress report.
The victim told police that several black male suspects pointed a weapon and demanded a yellow Ford Mustang with reported NJ license plate numbers "G67-FXW."
The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
There were no physical injuries reported.
