Paterson Police detained two individuals suspected of involvement in a shooting on Wednesday night. Officers rushed to the scene at 272 Rosa Parks Boulevard following reports of gunfire around 10:25 p.m.
There, they discovered a woman with a non-life-threatening graze wound.
As detectives gathered evidence and pieced together the events, they learned that the suspects had quickly escaped in a brown vehicle right after the incident.
This information led police officers to extend their search to the vicinity of Madison and Ellison Streets, where they successfully located the car in question.
The detention of the possible suspects is a potential development in the ongoing investigation into the motive behind the shooting.
Paterson Police are continuing their thorough investigation to uncover the reasons behind the attack.
Further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
