PATERSON NJ: A late night pursuit that had suspects bail from a vehicle in Paterson set cops in motion.
The incident reportedly happened on the westbound lanes of Route 80 when officers attempted to pull over a vehicle for several traffic violations.
The occupants inside the vehicle ignored officer's lights and sirens, when it sped off at a high rate of speed according to reports.
Officers following at a safe distance, noticed the suspected vehicle come to an abrupt stop and two suspects flee from the vehicle in the area of Governor Street and Auburn Street.
A brief foot pursuit had officers immediately capture the first suspect in the 30's block of 12th Avenue.
Cops setup a perimeter on Governor Street where they were able to apprehend the remaining suspect without incident.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
