Today, The Honorable Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh will join Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale and Acting Chief Engelbert Ribeiro in hosting a ceremony in honor of the Paterson Police Academy graduates.
The ceremony will draw about one hundred families, friends, and officials. It will happen around 11 a.m. at Paterson City Hall.
Mayor Sayegh will swear in 20 academy graduates from a diverse class of men and women.
According to Paterson city officials, this class will increase the ranks of the Paterson Police Department to 400 officers.
