Police announced the arrest of a 25-year-old Paterson man wanted in connection with last week's shooting that injured one person.
On June 30, during a vehicle stop on Oxford and North 9th street at approximately 3:20 a.m., police found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot graze wound to the head.
The unidentified victim was transported to Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center in unknown condition.
Further investigation into the shooting, led police to Lamore Brown, 25, who police say fired the shots on Lawrence Street near Montgomery Park hours earlier.
Yesterday, Brown was taken into custody in the area of Montgomery Park without incident. Police reportedly recovered a .45 caliber, defaced, semi-automatic pistol in the park.
He has been charged with attempted murder and various weapons offenses.
