Paterson’s Annual Pet Gift Giveaway is set to bring holiday cheer to pets and their owners once again.Physical TherapyThe Honorable Mayor Andre Sayegh, alongside Chief Animal Control Officer John DeCando, will lead the event on today Monday, December 16.

Now in its seventh year, the giveaway is organized by the Paterson Animal Shelter and aims to support the city’s pet-owning residents during the holiday season.

Carefully curated gift boxes, filled with pet food, toys, and other essential items, will be distributed to brighten the holidays for pets and their families.

According to a statement released by the Paterson Police Department, last year’s event provided more than 300 local residents with gift boxes valued at approximately $90 to $100 each, thanks to donations from the community.

This year’s event continues the tradition of bringing joy to Paterson’s pets and reinforcing the community's bond with its four-legged members during the festive season.
