Police in Paterson are on the search for the suspect/s responsible for burglarizing two businesses in the city early this morning.
At around 3:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a burglary at a dry cleaners located in the 900 block of Madison Avenue where officers arrived to find the business had been broken into at that location.
Officer determined that a cash register and other store items were taken from the store.
Shortly before 3:50 a.m., reports of a burglary in progress at a florist shop located in the 300 block of 21st Avenue sent police to the scene where they arrived to find the business broken into and a cash register missing.
Thieves took other items from the store before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
It is not immediately clear if the same suspects burglarized both businesses.
