Paterson Police are on the search for two violent suspects who are wanted for an armed robbery that left a person injured in the city.
The incident was reported in the 700 block of East 18th Street shortly after 7 p.m. where cops were called to the scene after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Cops arriving to the scene located the victim, who reported to them that shortly before their arrival to the scene, two black male suspects approached armed with a weapon and demanded personal items
As the victim attempted to hand over items, the suspects began to attack, striking the victim several times with the gun, then firing off one round in the direction of the victim before running from the scene where they then entered a vehicle that sped away.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life threatening.
Police have launched and investigation and are now searching for the men.
