The former 75-year-old pastor who admitted assaulting multiple children earlier this year has now requested to withdraw his guilty plea.
Officials say Harry Thomas pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated sexual assault (first-degree), three counts of sexual assault (second-degree) and one count of endangering the welfare of a child (second-degree) on Feb. 16th.
Under a plea agreement, Thomas would have faced a 20-year prison term without parole for the sexual assault of four minors, as well as inappropriate interactions with a fifth child.
According to authorities, Thomas was scheduled to be sentenced this past Friday but he is now scheduled to appear in court this coming week.
