Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed carjacking that took place early Wednesday morning.
Units responded to reports of a carjacking in progress near Gregory Avenue and River Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who stated that the suspect approached, implied they had a gun, and then stole a black Mercedes SUV before fleeing onto Route 21.
No physical injuries were reported.
The investigation remains active as authorities work to identify and apprehend the suspect.
