A report of a partial collapse had crews responding to the Adams Avenue home this afternoon, according to authorities.
Firefighters responded to the 500 block of Adams Avenues sometime after 1 this afternoon, after officers received a call claiming bricks were flying off the foundation of the home.
Elizabeth firefighters with the assistance of Union Township Squad 41, built supports for the hone until contractor could come to tear the building down.
No injuries were immediately reported. According to area residents, the house has been unoccupied several years.
The incident remains under investigation.
