Authorities in Burlington County are investigating a shooting that injured a person in Palmyra Saturday morning.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of Cinnaminson Avenue.
Officers arrived and found an unidentified person suffering a gunshot wound in their chest.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment while detectives stayed at the location investigating.
Police have not released additional information on circumstances surrounding the shooting.
