There were non-life threatening injuries reported for the driver of a car that crashed then overturned on a street in Newark Friday morning.
According to police, emergency responders rushed to the vicinity of Springfield Avenue and South 14th Street to investigate reports of a car crash.
Upon arrival, firefighters found an overturned vehicle with a trapped occupant inside.
Police say rescue crews were able to extricate the victim from the vehicle without serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
