An overnight shots fired incident that reportedly connected on one person in Plainfield has police investigating.
According to a preliminary reports, police responded to the area of West 4th Street and Spooner Avenue at approximately 2:35 a.m. after receiving reports of a person shot.
Police units arrived at the scene found one person suffering a gunshot wound at that location,
EMS transported the victim to the hospital in an unknown condition while police investigated the incident on the scene reports said.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reproted.
