Medical professionals provided life-saving techniques on a shooting who suffered injuries in a section of Paterson Thursday night.
According to police, the shooting happened at approximately 10:34 p.m. near the intersection of Paterson Street and Hamilton Avenue.
Authorities said offcials at St. Joseph's Hospital contacted police when the unidentified victim entered the emergency department suffering bullet wounds.
Officers arrived at the crime scene and found shell casings, but after a search of the area, no suspects have been found.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has taken over the investigation.
