Police searched area hospital for possible victims of a shooting that police on an Eatontown street overnight.
Several officers responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 87 Richardson Avenue just before 11 p.m. where officers canvassing the scene found evidence that a shooting occurred but no victims were found according to preliminary reports.
Police located several shell casings while they gathered evidence at the crime scene.
Richardson Avenue and South Street were shut down for the investigation.
