An armed carjacking at gunpoint that happened overnight had police in the city on high alert.
The carjacking happened at around midnight, in the 300 block of Sussex Avenue, where cops were called to the scene after receiving reports of a carjacking that occurred at that location.
After arriving to the scene, police learned that several armed suspects approached the victim and took a 2003 Toyota Camry with a reported NJ licenses plate number "R73-GKW".
The suspects took the vehicle then sped away from the scene reports said.
There were no immediate reports of physical injuries repaired.
