Police are actively investigating a carjacking that reportedly occurred in Belleville overnight.
According to preliminary reports, a female victim reported to police that sometime before 11:30 p.m. while in the vicinity of 542 Washington Avenue, when a male suspect took her vehicle via strong-arm.
The vehicle is being reported as a 2017 Nissan Sentra with Pennsylvania license plate numbers "KLX-2517"
There were no serious injuries reported.
