Over Three Dozen Arrested in Hudson County Warrant Sweep

Authoritites in Hudson County are reporting the arrest of over a dozen suspects found up in a warrant search for various incidents in the county. 

According to a statement released by authorities, led by Sheriff Frank X. Schillari, the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of another 34 people (including one suspect wanted for murder) as a result of “Operation Fall Roundup,” a county-wide warrant sweep. 

“I’m very proud of the work of my officers whose vigilance, attention to detail and commitment to upholding the law led to these arrests,” Sheriff Schillari said.

“I hope these arrests send a clear signal that my office is committed to keeping Hudson County safe, and that crime doesn’t pay.”

A complete list of the 34 suspects arrested during the warrant sweep (as well as their offenses) is below:

Murder

  • Sean Williams, 33, of Jersey City, for Criminal Homicide, Poss Weapon, Poss Weapon-Unlawful Purpose

Car Theft

  • Nadir Jamir Harris, 21, of Jersey City, for Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition, Unlawful Taking of Means of Conveyance, as well as being a fugitive from justice by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on charges of aggravated assault.

  • A fourteen-year-old minor from Jersey City for Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition and Unlawful Taking of Means of Conveyance

Aggravated Assault

  • Ishita Gohel, 23, of Hackensack, for Agg Assault on LEO-Bodily Injury and Agg Assault on Emergency 1st Aid/Medical Service Person.

  • Tyson Rodriguez, 30, of Union City, for Agg Assault, Causing Serious Bodily Injury and Harassment

  • George Mendez, 55, of Millstone, NJ, for Agg Assault with Deadly Weapon

  • Fredy Robles-Flores, 27, of Union City, for Agg Assault - Domestic Violence

  • Corey D. Barber, 26, of Newark, for Agg Assault-Attempt / Cause Significant Bodily Injury and
