The Osborn Cannonball House Museum invites the public to journey back in time as it opens its doors from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in celebration of Scotch Plains Day on October 1st.
This historic event commemorates the evolution of the community, tracing its roots from the village of Scotch Plains in Elizabethtown through the Township of Westfield and the Township of Fanwood to its present-day designation as the Township of Scotch Plains.
Guests can immerse themselves in the rich history of the 18th-century house, adorned with both colonial and Victorian-era furnishings.
Costumed docents will be on hand to narrate the fascinating story of the Osborn family, highlighting their thirteen children and their involvement in the American Revolution.
Located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076, the museum offers free admission, though donations are appreciated.
