An Orange Police Lieutenant died after suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Saturday inside the precinct.
Emergency responders were called to the precinct after they received calls that an employee was injured.
The unidentified Lieutenant was found inside his second-floor office suffering a single gunshot wound, sources told RLS Media.
He was not on duty during the time of the incident sources said.
Medical professionals pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities are not releasing his name at this time.
