Authorities have identified a man who was found shot dead on a busy East Orange Street as a resident of Orange.
According to a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, the man has been identified as **24-year-old Destrian Matteaux**.
Authorities said Matteux was found unconscious and unresponsive bleeding from the head after being shot in the 400 block of Central Avenue on Sunday at around 1 p.m.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There have been no arrests made authorities said.
