Officers from the Special Enforcement Bureau arrested Shyheim S. Clark, 19, of Orange, for a robbery that occurred on Friday, November 11, 2016.
According to police, approximately 4:30 p.m., police responded to Lisa Court and Lorretto Street after receiving a call for an armed robbery.
A female victim was robbed at gunpoint of her cash and personal items by a male suspect who she agreed to purchase a cell phone from.
Detectives developed evidence that Shyheim S. Clark is a suspect in this armed robbery and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Clark was arrested yesterday without incident following a motor vehicle stop at Morris and 14th avenues.
Authorities said he is charged with Robbery, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
