Camden County authorities are investigating the cause of a crash that killed a person and injured another victim on a highway in Woodlynne Tuesday afternoon.
According to a preliminary investigation, emergency responders rushed to the scene of a severe cash that occurred just before 4:40 p.m. on US-130 and Dwight Avenue.
Rescue crews arrived and found a car crashed into a utility pole with two victims trapped inside the vehicle.
Police say one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene while crews extricated the other victim who was transported to the hospital in critical condition. According to police, there were no other vehicles involved.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
