One Passaic County Player Wins $250,000 Powerball Prize

NJ Lottery officials said two New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls.

Lottery officials say the Power Ball drawn for the Wednesday, June 7, drawing won the $50,000 second-tier prize.

According to NJ Lottery officials, one of those tickets was purchased with the Power Play option, multiplying the prize to $250,000.

Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

•    Monmouth County ($250,000): Little Brown Jug, 2040 Route 33, Neptune. 

•    Passaic County ($50,000): Krauszer Food Store, 484 High Mountain Rd., North Haledon.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, June 7, drawing were: 16, 21, 29, 53, and 66, officials said.

Officials say the Red Power Ball number was 02, and the Power Play was 5X.

20,683 New Jersey players took home an estimated $152,749 in prizes ranging from $4 to $500.

According to officials, the Powerball jackpot rolls to $308,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, June 10, at 10:59 p.m.
