One person suffered fatal injuries in a crash on a NJ highway Saturday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, police were dispatched to the northbound lanes of Route 21 near Exit 11 in Passaic to investigate reports of a crash around 1:25 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found two vehicles involved in a collision, one of the cars igniting in flames.
After crews extinguished the fire, one person died at the scene.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and a Crime Scene Unit responded to the location for the investigation.
The cause of the crash has not been determined at this time.
