Mercer County authorities are investigating a stabbing incident that injured a person in Trenton Tuesday night.
Police were called to the single-digit block of Barnt Avenue to investigate reports of an injured person around 8:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified person suffering a stab wound to the face.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Police are continuing to look into the motive for the stabbing, and no arrests have been reported at this time.
