There is an active investigation underway into a shooting that sent one person to the hospital early this morning in Trenton.
The shooting happened in the 600 block of Lamberton Street shortly before 5 a.m. rushing police to the scene where they found the victim suffering an apparent gunshot injury.
The victim was rushed to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in serious but stable condition according to reports.
Police searched the area for a shooter and other evidence to support a motive.
There were no arrests reported.
