Police are investigating an early morning crash that sent one person to the hospital on NJ-21.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes near exit five sending police to the scene where the found two vehicles damaged at that location.
EMS transported one person to University Hospital suffering serious injuries according to reports.
Police closed the highway at Exit 7 Main Street in Belleville for the investigation.
