The driver of a taxi cab was transported to Jersey City Medical Center after a crash that involved an ambulance caused the driver of a cab to become pinned in the vehicle overnight.
The incident happened in the vicinity of Franklin Street and Palisades Avenue at around midnight where a Union City Ambulance collided with a taxi trapping the driver according to reports.
Firefighters and rescue crews arrived at the scene and extricated the victim from the vehicle who they found suffering a serious head injury.
There were no injuries to EMTs reports said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
