Five tickets split the $1,459,985 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, Dec. 22 drawing. Each ticket is worth $291,997.
Two of those winning tickets were purchased at the same retailer. The lucky retailers that sold those winning tickets are:
Essex County: Wine & Spirit Liquor Warehouse, 71-85 First St., Newark;
Mercer County: Quick Chek #47, 129 Route 31 No., Pennington;
Two tickets sold in Morris County at Quick Chek #58, 480 Bevewyck Rd., Lake Hiawatha; and
Passaic County: Bonita MiniMarket II, 955 Main Ave., Passaic.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said that the four winning tickets sold for Thursday’s drawing matched all five numbers drawn.
The winning numbers were: 04, 13, 17, 32 and 43 and the XTRA number was: 03.
"We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Wine & Spirit Liquor Warehouse, Quick Chek #47, Quick Chek #58 and Bonita MiniMarket II,” said Hedinger. “The retailers will each receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling these winning tickets.
Overnight, they have become four more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
