A crash that caused fatal injuries in Woodbridge has authorities investigating.
Detectives from Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office were on the scene of the collision that happened shortly before 11:45 p.m. in the 800 block of Port Reading Avenue.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find two severely damaged vehicles with trapped and injured occupants inside according to reports.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene while the remaining victims were transported to an area hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries reports said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
