Authorities confirmed at least one fatality in a crash that included several injured victims on a roadway in Tenafly Sunday morning.
At approximately 1 a.m., emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Columbus Drive and Knickerbocker Road to investigate reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, rescue crews began the process of extricating a severely injured vehicle from a damaged car, according to responders.
Preliminary reports from the scene indicated that one person was pronounced dead, one is critical, and two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office was notified of the collision.
