An overnight crash that killed a motorcyclist in Newark has an investigation underway by authorities.
Emergency responders rushed to the area of Bragaw Avenue at Willoughby Avenue at around 10 p.m. after receiving reports of an injured person.
Crews arrived to the scene where they located the badly injured male victim laying on the ground after his motorcycle was struck by a car at that location according to reports.
Preliminary reports indicated that the car and the motorcycle collided near the intersection, ejecting the victim from the motorcycle.
The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
