One third-tier prizewinning ticket was sold for the Tuesday, January 3, drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn, winning the $10,000 prize.
According to NJ Lottery officials, the ticket was purchased at Canal’s Discount Liquor Mart, 10 West Route 70, Marlton, in Burlington County.
Officials say in addition to the third-tier prize won, 115 players matched four of the five white balls drawn, making each ticket worth $500.
Twenty of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier, multiplying the prizes to $2,000.
According to lottery officials, 149,395 other New Jersey players took home $701,882 in prizes ranging from $2 to $800.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, January 3, drawing were: 25, 29, 33, 41, and 44.
Officials say the Gold Mega Ball was 18, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.
The jackpot rolls to $940 million for the next drawing to be held on Friday, January 6, at 11:00 pm.
