A search is underway for a 64-year-old woman and a 8-year-old girl who have been missing since yesterday.
According to authorities, Kayla Smith, 8, of East Orange was last seen in the area of North Maple Avenue at approximately 10 Wednesday morning after she as picked up by a family friend identified as Flora Roach-Premnauth, 64, of Schenectedy, New York.
Roach-Premnauth, who may possibly suffer from Alzheimer's disease, was suppose to be picking up Smith's mother from John F. Kennedy airport in New York.
She is described as 5'6, weighing 170 pounds and wearing red boots, and was seen driving a black 4-door 2005 Cadillac Deville bearing NY license plate GMX-6056.
Kayla is described as 4'0" and weighing 119 pounds, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray and blue striped sweater.
According to reports, their last known location is Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy airport.
