NY, NJ Announced New Protocol at Area Airports While Dealing with ‘High Risk’ Passengers

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced the institution of a mandatory quarantine for people returning to US from Ebola infected areas.

People arriving from infected areas will be interviewed by ‘State Health Officials’ upon arrival to any of the designated area airports. People should be prepared to possibly face mandatory quarantine until it is determined they are not infected, governors announced during a press conference this afternoon.

"We have informed the CDC of our intention and they have agreed that states have the right to establish their own guidelines" with regards to Ebola, Cuomo said.

"We are no longer relying on CDC standards, these are New York and New Jersey standards,” said Gov. Christie.
