NWS: Showers Expected in North Jersey After 10 Days of Dry Weather

As North Jersey wakes up to a pleasant 68 degrees this morning, residents are preparing for the return of rain after 10 dry days.GenceptzWhile the morning remains calm, the National Weather Service predicts showers this afternoon.

Radar shows rain approaching from Southern New Jersey, though it is not expected to be a washout.

There is a 40% chance of showers after 8 a.m., with cloudy skies and a high near 75 degrees.

Winds will be light, shifting northeast at 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Tonight, showers are likely, mainly before 2 a.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a low of around 66 degrees.
