Newark and the North Jersey region can finally expect a break from the persistent rain and gloom that has dominated Friday's weather.

As we transition into the weekend, The National Weather Service meteorologist said Saturday brings with it a 50 percent chance of rain, primarily before 2 p.m., under cloudy skies.

NWS data indicated that the day's high temperature is predicted to reach around 66°F, accompanied by a north wind blowing at approximately 11 mph.

However, the silver lining emerges on Sunday.

The National Weather Service reports that the region can anticipate significantly improved weather conditions.

Sunday is expected to be beautiful, offering a respite from the recent damp and raw weather. So, after enduring the rainy and chilly Friday, residents can look forward to a brighter and more pleasant weekend, with Sunday being the highlight.
