Newark and North Jersey are starting the week with cool temperatures at 62 degrees, marking the final day of the month with mostly dry conditions following a rainy Sunday.
While some precipitation is being detected over Sussex County, much of it is not reaching the ground.
The National Weather Service forecasts mostly cloudy skies today, with a few glimpses of sunshine expected throughout the day.
The high will be near 72 degrees, with a northeast wind blowing at 7 to 9 mph.
